Content Upload Agreement

This agreement governs all content uploaded by customers to DigitalVideotoVHS.com for VHS-style conversion.

By uploading files, you agree to the following:

1. Ownership and Rights

You confirm that:

  • You own the uploaded content, or

  • You have legal permission (including copyright permissions) to use, share, and modify it.

You retain full ownership of your video files.

You grant DigitalVideotoVHS.com a temporary, limited licence to use the content solely for:

  • Converting it into VHS style

  • Delivering the final digital product to you

We do not claim ownership or long-term rights to your videos.

2. Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload any videos containing:

  • Child exploitation

  • Illegal or unlawful activity

  • Violence, threats, or hate speech

  • Copyrighted content you do not have permission to use

  • Personal information of others without consent

  • Malware or harmful code

  • Sensitive personal data unless necessary and permitted

We reserve the right to delete, refuse, or report unlawful content.

3. File Delivery & Storage

You acknowledge that:

  • Uploaded files are stored temporarily for conversion

  • Final files are stored for up to 30 days after delivery

  • After 30 days, both original and converted files may be deleted

  • We do not guarantee long-term storage or backups

4. Customer Responsibility

You understand and agree that:

  • You must upload the correct file

  • Poor-quality input will produce a poor-quality output

  • VHS-style distortion, noise, and imperfections are intentional

  • We are not responsible for issues caused by the original file

5. Content Safety & Privacy

Your uploaded video is treated as private and will never be:

  • Shared publicly

  • Used for marketing

  • Given to third parties (except necessary processing tools)

unless required by law or with your explicit written consent.

6. Liability Limitations

We are not liable for:

  • Loss or corruption of the uploaded file

  • Loss of the final product after delivery

  • Upload errors or incomplete files

  • Content that violates laws or rights

  • Any damages beyond the cost of your order

Nothing overrides your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

7. Acceptance of These Terms

By uploading files, you confirm your agreement to this Content Upload Agreement and all related policies on DigitalVideotoVHS.com.
