1. Overview
DigitalVideotoVHS.com provides a custom digital video conversion service.
Because each order is created using your supplied content, most purchases are non-refundable once processing has begun.
This policy is compliant with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
2. Refund Eligibility
2.1 Before Video Processing Begins
You may cancel your order for a full refund if we have not yet started working on your video.
To request cancellation, contact us immediately at: [your email].
2.2 After Processing Has Begun
Once we have started converting your video, refunds generally cannot be provided, unless required by the ACL.
Because the service is custom-made, we cannot “undo” the labour once it has begun.
3. When Refunds Are Available
You may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair when:
- The final digital file is corrupted, incomplete, or not delivered
- The delivered file is not as described
- There is a major failure, as defined by the ACL
We will first attempt to re-process your video at no extra charge.
If the issue persists, a refund may be offered.
4. Situations Not Eligible for Refund
Refunds cannot be granted when:
- The original video file was low-quality, corrupted, or damaged
- The customer uploaded the wrong file
- VHS-style distortion or imperfections appear (as they are part of the effect)
- The final video is not to personal taste, despite matching the described style
- The customer failed to download the delivered file before the expiration date
- Email delivery issues occurred outside our control (spam filters, inbox limits, etc.)
5. Re-delivery of Files
If your download link expired, we may re-send your file within 30 days of completion, free of charge.
After 30 days, re-delivery may incur a fee or may no longer be available.
